Hi all, would this unit be ok with a vario Benzin Acrobatic heli.....i need to know as this heli is very costly, well for me anyway :o
I would be alot happier with the bail out which has saved my ass on numerous occasions :D
Cheers Chris.

Hi kenny,

yes, it should work.
The helicopter is flybared helicopter so you have to enable Stabi/Flybar mechanic.
With CCPM 90 swashplate settings it should be OK.

Unfortunately we have no experience with this helicopter, but there shouldn't be anything special.

Thanks for the reply.........you now have a choice of flybarred or flybarless vario benzine acrobatic, so flybarless is the one I'm going to get.
Most of the guys i know run vbars with the seperate sensor........its a fair bit of dosh so need to get it right. What would you advise.
I have 2 normal and 1 pro unit at the mo.

Thats great.
Both units should work, but because of more free ports, I recommend using Pro version.

Handled it fine on a HelixHeli G700.

Which engine are you going to use? This is the key.

You might want to enquire if it has been balanced? At least the flywheel.

I do not know this specific engine, but it seems that they are quite rough in stock for.

Spirit units can work on any model if it is in good condition.
If condition is very bad, then it does not matter which motor there is.

Fortunately you can check it by analysis even in flight now.

Also Spirit unit offer Extended signal processing feature for the cases where vibrations are very, very high.

Thanks for all the replies. .....as the engine being rough stock, not quite sure what you mean. ..its supplied by vario so i would think they are well balanced for the heli...could be wrong tho .
I know you can buy them off shelf cheaper but then i think its not tuned or whatever.
