Hi,
I uploaded this video w/ the hopes of trying to have this issue resolved as precisely and quickly as possible. Below is a problem description with additional details I thought may be helpful in troubleshooting my issue. I have gone through the Spirit Tuning Guide and tried some settings found on a similar thread here(How to tune out the annoying tail kick)
Problem Description:
Fairly straight forward. On spool up about 35-40% throttle the tail will spin out of control with very little to no rudder input from the transmitter. I have tried changes as noted below under “Notable Spirit-Settings” and “Notable Transmitter Settings (Futaba 14SG)” and the tail spin is still out of control. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Heli Setup
* Goblin 380 KSE (three blade rotor head)
* Motor: Xnova “Tareq Edition” 930KV
* ESC: Castle 100 lite
* BEC: 10 amp
* Cyclic Servos: BK DS-3001HV
* Rudder Servo: BK DS-5005HV
* FBL: Spirit Pro (Firmware: spirit-fw-2.1.0.4df)
Notable Spirit-Settings (Spirit Pro using default G380 Template from Wizard)
General Tab:
* Position: Horizontal (180)
* Swashplace: CCPM 120 (reversed)
* Receiver: SBUS
Sensor Tab:
* Rubber Common Gain: Changed from 1.0x to 1.20x
* All other settings left at default
Advanced Tab:
* Pirouette Consistency: Changed from 160 to 185
* Rudder Delay: Changed from 8 to 0
* All other settings left at default
Notable Transmitter Settings (Futaba 14SG):
* Transmitter Rudder Gyro (GY AVCS): Changed from 100 to 90, 80, 70, 60
* Throttle Curve: Linear (Normal) // Did not test IDLE1
* Pitch Curve: Linear (Normal) // Did not test IDLE
If it matters, the receiver is: R7008SB (SBUS) w/ single cable from sbus port to RUD on Spirit Pro. If you need any other settings, please let me know. Thanks!
[SOLVED] Goblin 380 KSE: Tail spins out of control...
Hi,
thank you for all the details.
The easiest thing that can exactly do this is reversed servo operation.
Thus you only have to set correct compensation direction and all will be fine
This can be done in the Servo/Servo Reverse - CH4.
Please make sure that also cyclic is configured correctly, if no, then your helicopter can tipover right during lift off.
But you can take a video (on the ground with motor off) to make sure that everything is good.

That was it! Just needed to reverse the servo/servo reverse on CH4! Flies like a champ! Thanks!ZeXx86 wrote:Hi,
