Help wiring my Kosmik 160hv

Okay, I have a kosmik 160hv set to 8v and I want to run a buffer pack from the slave channel to keep it charged. I don't have the pro version,so I have to use a y adapter but where do I put it? I don't have an open spot on the Spirit, do I put the y adapter at the esc port? Or where, any help you all can give is appreciated? Thanks

sorry for late response.

You can put buffer pack to your receiver if there is a free slot.
Alternatively you can use Y-cable such as this:

You can connect it to the RUD port where it can feed servos well.
