[SOLVED] New Spirit "Unit not detected" - Bad USB extension

My computer doesn't detect the new Spirit. Brand new never used. I tried other Spirits and it works.
Not sure if it's related but the Spektrum satellites don't light up or blink intermittently.
I tried different sat's and cables. Triple checked that the interface cable was plugged in correctly.
