When I go trough the setup Wizard I don't get the option for channel setup.
I needed to complete the Wizard and then go back to General Tab to set channel assignment.

This is very likely caused, because you are using a PWM connection or Spektrum, where channels are usually unchanged for the basic setup.
So this behavior is wanted to make it as easy as possible.

If a pilot can see options, he can be unsure if they are OK. If there is nothing, you do not have to worry about it.
