Think I finally got everything right. Manage to assign a trigger switch on my Jeti to activate rescue mode
Have a couple of questions thought.
1. In failsafe menu are there any assignments needed ? I did nothing here so I assume
if signal is lost heli will just cut throttle & other function will go into neutral position.

2. Rescue Mode : I set as Acro, when I trigger the switch swash goes up but when I invert
the heli & flick the switch the swash just tilts so is this correct ? When I
choose stabilised mode I notice that no swash movement when I flick
the rescue switch. In this parameter does the rescue function works in
a different way ?
Lastly is it ok if I use the trigger switch instead of on/off type on my tx

Thks Tomas

Perfect!

1) No, you only have to disable Failsafe in the receiver. Then failsafe from the unit will work.
During the failsafe, the channels will return to the position when you clicked the Set failsafe button in the Channels window.

2) If you can see "HF" in the Diagnostic tab when rescue is activated, then the Rescue is working properly.
Rescue will work well, if the basic settings were configured right - especially Position, Swashplate and all channels (rudder, aileron, elevator, pitch) are working in the correct direciton in the Diagnostic tab.
Yes - stabilisation mode is not rescue, it is working in a different way when no collective is changed. Rescue is controlling also collective depending on the current model position.

Hi Tomas
Thank you again.
Question, if I assign Stabilization Acro
how does it work cause I've tried it & flicking the switch
I see no movement of the swash so how would I know if
it is working. Also in this parameter does it mean that if
I'm caught up in disorientation etc by letting go of the
stick heli will level out by itself or ?????. I read that lots
are using stabilization to help train oneself so this is very
good for me but nothing much has been written in depth
about these parameters. Would appreciate if you could
enlighten me on this

Cheers

When you enable the stabilisation nothing should happen if the heli is laying on the ground.
If you can see HF in the Diagnostic tab, then it is activated.

What you can see on the ground is a different stick response than for normal flying mode.
This mode is used for learning the basics.

For helicopter recovery I highly recommend the Rescue mode which is also controlling the collective pitch.
So you do not have to take care about anything, only the switch/button.
