wont power on

out of the box, I have a spirit that will not power on at all, any ideas? have tested all my other to upgrade, and all work but this one?

this is sad.
Is this really new unit (from us or a dealer) or bought from somebody else?
We are testing each unit prior to shipping to prevent such problem.
Of course whatever will happen we are able to fix it, but first we have to find how it happened or what is wrong.

Can you describe me what is your wiring?

I did get them from an individual, 3 brand new box never opened.
first one worked fine, second did nothing, so took 3rd one out and it comes on fine and works.

My wiring is system wire in system port, and scorpion bug on aux for power,with negitives to outside of case.
just trying to upgrade before install

Ah, thank you for the info.

Unfortunately it is possible to open the box with no marks of usage.
Usually you can distinguish if the unit was used by finger prints on the foam which holds the unit.
It should be completely clean.

Can you send the serial number to me (preferably in a private message). We can find more info about it.

When you power the unit on, do you see at least very short flash of the Status LED?

I will send you a pm with the serial number, also, there is no light at all when it is plug in, red light doesnt flicker or anything

Update: We have found that the unit was actually used and very likely sold damaged.
We will examine and fix the unit when it will arrive to us.
