The Spirit units are awesome. I currently own eight Spirit Pro's.
I would like to have the software automatically alert me when a software update is available.

+1 but what would be even better is a email notification for this since you're not always using the software. Should be easy to arrange.

You can subscribe to the news forum itself after you logged in with your account.
In this case you get email notifications on news and updates
