Spirit System

Hi,
I'm using a Spektrum SPMAR9020 nine channel receiver to send 5 channels (PWM) to a standard Spirit gyro. If I connect the SRXL pin on the 9020 receiver to the RUD pin on the Spirit (and select SRXL receiver type in software) how many of the 9 channels of the receiver will be available? Will it still only be 5 channels?

If it makes a difference my transmitter is a 12 channel Walkera DEVO 12s w/deviation firmware. NOT a Spektrum TX.

with SRXL connection it should be all the channels that transmitter offer. But in case of Walkera I am not confident how it will work.
You can get also AR7700 which is smaller but also offer SRXL connection.

Thank you for the answer. I will check with the TX firmware developer or I may just try it and see what happens. Would be nice to have more than 5 channels although I haven't really needed to adjust my rudder gain which I have to do in the software instead of the TX.

i´m using an AR8010T with SRXL on Spirit, all Transmitter Channels can be used.
