[SOLVED] Return to level

Hi, further to this, I'm still a learner. I use "coaxial" at the moment and I would like if possible for the model to return to level "even faster" than currently. I have it set to 0 in directional control so I assume that is the fastest it can be set? As a real noobie this would help me a lot. Thanks!

So,judging by no reply, not possible to speed the return to level on coaxial stabi?

No, COAXIAL and DIRECTION CONTROL RATE 0 is the fastest return to level Option.

So, algorithm can't be changed to accommodate this?

Hello,

in this mode the model should react immediately to stick output.
If you will release it should return immediately back to the horizontal position.

So it is hard to say in which way it could be faster. Can you explain me what transition is exactly slow for you?
I am sure that it is possible.

Hi, OK here goes, I'm still learning and also been away from the hobby for a while. I had a 500 size heli with an old helicommand 3a unit on it. When I released the sticks on that model it instantly returned to level (almost describe as instantaneous).I was going to upgrade to a BD3SX mainly because it had a bailout function and seemed the next logical step. but then I heard so much great reviews about the spirit that I decided to buy a Spirit pro and fitted it to a 450 pro. I was sort of hoping (rightly or wrongly) that the self level might be near to the old HC3A unit snappy return. I am finding that the return to level from any direction is quite a bit slower than I expected. I suppose what I'm asking is if coaxial can be a bit more snappy in returning to level. After all, my understanding of "coaxial" is that it's primarily for beginners, am I right? If this is not possible then that's fine. If something can be improved in way the way i desrcibe fantastic. Thanks.

Please try to increase your Cyclic Gain and if it does not help, then sort of bypass is possible by increasing Geometry 6° value in the Advanced settings.
This will change other flight characteristics, but if you are flying just in the Stabilisation mode, it shouldn't be a problem.

Ok thanks, I'll give what you suggest a try.
