Hi, this is my config file for my new Goblin 420.

I have two problem want to solve with this config file, when coming out of a turn and in fast forward flight, I can hear the tail have a fast wag. This happen after I use the spirit governor, before with HW internal governor there is no wag at all.

Secondly, how can I remove the little kick like (5 degrees) when doing pitch pump?

Funny thing is if I reduce the common gain, the fast wag is gone but then the little kick at pitch pump increases to like 10 degrees. What parameter should I be looking at to have a balance in between?

The tail servo is called GDW DS-595mg, I am running at 5.5Kg.cm/0.03sec/60°@8.4V so I believe I shall run the rudder delay at 0.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

with Goblin it is required that the rudder neutral position is configured so that there is a slight angle when rudder servo is at the center position.

When you tick Servos/Subtrim (tuning) all servo arms (including from rudder) should be at the center.
At the same time there must be 3-4° between tail blades.

What can also improve the situation is a shorter servo arm.

Both these changes should improve the rudder performance. Rudder Delay at 0 is fine for this servo.

If you are getting tail wag with governor, than it might be because Governor Response value is too high. You can try to decrease by 1.
