Hello,
When using Auto Turn-off, how to get the WiFi-Link module back to work then?
If not using Auto Turn-off, can the WiFi-Link module remain connected during flight without interfering with the Tx/Rx-signals?
Btw, the WiFi Link Auto Turn-off option is only available via Browser but not in the Android App (?)
Cheers

Hello,
to turn the module on again, you have to re-plug the power supply for the module or to use some kind of switch.
You can fly with module on, but receiver signal could be reduced so there is a safety risk.
You can perform a range test to check how/if it is affected.
Android app is universal app for BT and Wifi modules so it has not such feature. Also it is developed mainly by 3rd party developer, but in the future it can be implemented.

Thank you very much! (your answer should make it literally into the manual
)
I think, I'll go with a switch in the power cable to be on the safe side.
Need to think about how to make it easily externally accessible (it's a heli with fuselage).

You can control it also by a channel remotely. It is possible to buy such switch controlled by a free channel.

Brilliant idea!
Can I use the Spirit function "Output to CH0" in order to control such a switch?

Yes, but make sure what is operating frequency for the switch.
Spirit is outputting same frequency as for the cyclic servos at the CH0 port.

Got such a switch and controlling it via CH0 works like a charm.
So, fine tuning the Spirit Pro at the field is really comfortable now: landing, motor stop, powering Wifi-Link via Tx, connecting to the Wifi link with cell phone, fine tuning, all steps back and take off. Takes less than half a minute. Could also use HoTT but that's much slower (with Rx GR-16) and less comfortable.
Thank you!

Great! What switch fo you use?
Make sure you have thd latest fw for gr-16.
This will make the integration faster.

I use this switch:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/RC-RX-Schalter-S ... 2419319833
It features an output with JR socket and uses the input power for powering the output, i.e., one can just connect the power cable of the Wifi-Link module to the switch's output socket.
GR-16 update: Wasn't aware that there is a new firmware. Just did the update (from ver. 6a37 to 6a39) and HoTT is much faster now !!!

Maximum Input voltage is only 7,6 volts. What's happening if you use 8-8,4 volts? Did you try it? [emoji16]
