I do not get the telemetry data ( not connet Pack Spm4649T )

When I connect the SPM4649t directly to the package, I get packet voltage information.

Where am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I recommend to install official Spirit firmware, since 2.4.5 is unofficial.

Unfortunately I don't understand what "Package" mean in this case.
Can you explain please?

Telemetry page in the transmitter is not looking correctly.
There should be just "1. ESC".

Hello

Spirit firmware 2.4.3 installed

Soryy I am not good at English language
Package = flight pack / Battery Voltage
4649t feature, direct battery voltage transmission, when there is direct connection, the battery voltage is smooth with the radio.
There is no problem between the radio and the 4649T. I think there's a problem between 4649T and Spirit.

There is no ESC in the radion telemetry settings.

Hello,

I am afraid but the transmitter is unable to display the telemetry variables.
It will be necessary to modify the firmware to support this.
We will add it to our TODO list.

If it is important for you, we can try to implement it in unofficial release as soon as possible.

Hello Tomas

Thank you for your interest.
it doesn't matter much.

Hi, I just bought a SPM4649T and cannot get Telemetry to work with my DX8 Gen 1.
I always get the same wrong telemetry data as in the pictures above.

Is there any chance I can get Telemetry to work or should I send the SPM4649T back and switch to OpenTX?
It's a difference of 150€ to get appropriate sender and receiver...

Unfortunately we are very busy with preparing new update. But we have not forgot about DX8. But it will require some time, until we will release new firmware version.
Then there will be time for adding full telemetry. Since we are nearly ready, it should not take long time.
Thank you for your patience.

In any way with OpenTX you can get also full integration. Or you can just get any newer Spektrum radio where it will work as well.

Wow, thank you very much for your fast response.

I chose to buy the Spirit due to its great support of other devices, configurability, Linux support and the free updates.
In other words: In my opinion it is the most "open" FBL system on the market.
(Of course, open source would be what I had really loved  )

On the other hand, I'm pretty annoyed of Spektrum due to its marketing strategy:
"Oh, you want to change one switch on a Gen 1? Forget it! There'll be no updates, it's older than two years, buy a new TX from us!"
Therefore, should I ever buy a new TX, I'll go for OpenTX.

Nevertheless, I really appreciate your move to try supporting the DX8 Gen 1, so thank you for that :)
