Hi,

I read allot about tail tuning and are trying to get it right. When I pump the pitch the tail twists like 100mm then back. Revomix makes it close to perfect but again revomix is something we don't like  Trying to set my Goblin 500 up correct with all tips and tricks from the forum :D

So my question is how do I center the servos when I sub trim? Going in the menu (in the spirit device, not the radios subtrim) and subtriming with my Jeti DS16 I can not se the servo centering. It seems to sub trim from the position it was in at the moment and not go to center first.

I'm I missing something? (Spirit Pro)

Thanks!

Hi,

subtrim or trim in your should never be used for this purpose. Normally you should never change it with the most FBL controllers.
Instead for this purpose you can find Subtrims in the Spirit Settings software (or Jeti Integration). With these subtrims you can center the servo arms exactly.

I highly recommend to perform the Setup wizard (in the Spirit Settings) since there you can find all necessary steps to set the whole model to achieve correct behavior.

Thanks you for a fast reply. This things I know. Jeti radio subtrim says zero. Spirit FBL subtrim I can change and the servo moves but I never se the servo center when I enter the menu from my Jeti. If I twist the helicopter so the tail is maximum one way and enter the Spirit FBL subtrim menu, the servo stays at the end position but I can still subtrim it.

In the Jeti Integration you have to click at the Subtrim (tuning) to enter the special mode where you can see Subtrims - similarly as with the PC software.
At this moment no servo should react to the sticks or a movement.

Also please do not forget to Save the settings - in the Jeti integration it is needed too (as with PC software).
