A newbie here with a very newbie question. I am trying to set up a micro spirit system with a FrSky Taranis and a Align Trex 250 Pro Dfc. I cant figure out what channel should be mixed with the throttle. Is it the pitch or the elevator? I can make both work depending on my Tx settings and servo reversals, but I don't know which way is correct. The transmitter is a mode 2. Thanks in advanced.

What I am trying to determine is, what channel controls the collective? Pitch or elevator?

Hello,
I recommend to not mix anything - so that all is independent - in this way more advanced pilots are flying. It will give you also better behavior of the helicopter.
I am not sure if I understand your question, but collective pitch is always pitch channel.
Elevator is axis which is responsible for tilting the model forward and backward.

Thanks for the reply. I am can't determine if the pitch channel should be dedicated to the pitch servo or the collective(left stick). On the channel mapping screen there are more options to the right. Is this where the collective pitch channel should be assigned? Or is it the pitch channel on the left. The instructions on the wiki aren't very clear on this.

You can just download our Taranis profile and you are ready to fly.
It is available here:
http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... ntegration
All channels should move separately in the radio.
Then you have to see the same behavior also in the Spirit Settings (Diagnostic tab).

Is a telemetry receiver required for this to work? Where on the sd card should the spirit file be placed? Under (scripts) or can it be placed anywhere? I have a micro spirit unit. Is integration cable necessary for this unit?

Yes, integration cable and S.Port receiver is required to make the integration work. If it is not present, it will work as any other radio.
Scripts can be placed anywhere on the SDCard.
