Spirit System

I am trying to dail in t aileron axis gain, now on my ultimate. I have now found that too low gain is not that nice. I can clearly see how the wind upsets the plane with masse of smaller twitches. Turning up the gain to just below oscillations smoothens things out but then I get fewer but well pronouced twitches and corrections. I have this behavior on my KMX and on the hyperbipe. I am guessing that this is what it can look like with a gyro. It is much nicer to fly with one than not but I am wondering if there is a parameter I am ignorant about that I can smoothen the corrections out a bit.
