Spirit Setup using a Futaba - Do I need flight conditions?

Hi Chaps, I am setting up a Spirit (Aero) for the first time (I have set up a heli before on a Spirit and BV) I was wondering if anyone has setup one using a Futaba radio? I have an 18mz which is very programmable and I am using the S-Bus input to the Spirit, I am trying to work out how to have or 3 banks one Off on Acro Stabilisation and one for rescue. The rescue needs to be on a momentary switch. The normal bank switching can be on a two or three position switch. I have thought about trying to do this with mixing but it looks pretty sloppy. So now I am thinking I need to setup different flight conditions and have the Rescue function override the off and stabilisation conditions. Just looking to see if anyone has done this, and how it was set up.
I also wanted to confirm that when in stabilization mode that changing the gyro gain from + to - values, turns the heading hold on and off but leaves the stabilisation on (similar to rate mode on a heli)
Thanks for any help
