Can anyone point or link me to source of information for how to connect and set up Spirit (non-pro) with OrangeRx R920X V2 9Ch SBUS receiver?

RX: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/orangerx...safe-sbus.html

I know I would need the Spirit SBUS adapter, and the SBUS connections to the Spirit and Spirit gov setup are clearly described in the online manual.

The Orange "manual" is absolutely no help.

MORE DETAILS:

This for my Trex 800, I have Spirit (non-pro) with OrangeRx R1020X V2 PWM and SBUS version. They are currently connected and working well using PWM.

I am using Spirit special cable that brings Ail, Elev and Pit channels from Ail, Elev and Aux1 ports on receiver into one port (ELE/PIT/AIL) on Spirit.

I am currently using the ESC governor, but would like to use Spirit governor instead.

However, to to do that, I would need to use ELE/PIT/AIL port on the Spirit for connecting the RPM wire from the Castle Phoenix Edge 160 HV, and in this scenario, Spirit manual says you must use "single line digital receiver connection".

I've never used SBUS and have no idea which RX port to use for SBUS out, any programming or binding requirements, etc.

Appreciate any help.

Hello,

it look like you will have to switch the output protocol to SBUS according the manual of this receiver.

But I am afraid we do not have such manual, so I dont know exactly how to perform this. But usually it is done by binding button on the receiver.

It look like you can use also PPM or SBUS protocols. So it is only important to switch it correctly.

Unfortunately we are not sure that this SBUS is really compatible as it is not official Futaba product. Do you have a manual for the receiver? Maybe we can find at least some hint.
