Hello everyone, after the disastrous experience with microservos sh 0257 series on microspirit, not suitable for fbl (brushed motor), I also have a trex 500 dfc with Spirit Pro where I have always installed the Savox, with series SH1250MG.The question is the same, are fine to fbl? until now I did a few flights on this helicopter, but they do not seem to have given problems.
here is a link to a video of when I just finished assembling them on a Spirit pro.ma I did a few flights on this trex 500 and I trust very little of Savox
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9IaZh52mcQ
the Savox sh 0257 series on the Microspirit after 50hz I even found that they take over the fail safe, or have the regulator/esc disconnected,
and after 100 flights have a crazy play
in their movements(jitter) So I have just eliminated them forever.are the worst servos ever produced by Savox
Thanks
Savox SH1250 MG and Spirit Pro
These servos are good for FBL. They are not the best in terms of performance and precision as they are produced for many years now, but they are quite reliable. There is coreless motor so they can handle nearly everything.
All older micro servos from Savox and Align are really not suitable for FBL. There are many cheaper chinesee servos that can work significantly better. Unfortunately Savox is still producing them for some reason although they were designed for flybared helicopters over decade ago.
Now they have a proper micro servos too, but price is of course much different.

I totally agree, could you tell me the code of this microservo of the Savox that goes well?
I buy Savox not to wait too long for shipping, so I picked them up from a store near my home, but I made a mistake. I will never buy Savox again, he thinks that even their original screwdriver can not unscrew their screws. paid 27 euros as a tool
ZeXx86 but u are Thomas?
Thanks Again

Hi,
I think, Pino wants to know, how many flight hours a good servo can be used with a FBL system like "Spirit" untill it is "worn out".
I guess none of the servo manufactors could (would?) answer this question.
None of my servos just quit working in the air. The few that have died, did it on the ground together with the whole helicopter.

If you are not crashing then it could work for over 20 years.
But if you are flying each day and crash each month then it could work well just few months
There are servos with magnetic sensors that could fail in one week due to some manufacturing issue and there are analogue that can work reliably for years.

Unfortunately there will be never ideal conditions.
So it is very hard to predict lifetime.
Normally it should work at least for over 5 years. Of course if you are not flying too much it can work for 50 years.
