t rex 700 rescue, BEC requirement

Hi,

Is Turnigy 8A (Peak output 15A) BEC enought for rescue on T REX 700 with 3 X Align DS610 and DS650 on rudder? BEC works perfect with sk720 rescue, but it seems that spirit rescue is more brutal. I have some issue with t rex 450, when bec test in spirit settings software was ok (turnigy 40a plush with integrated 3A BEC), but in flight I got two failures (reset instead rescue  ) so I changed ESC for HW 50A with 7A BEC, since then rescue works flawlessly. So I want ask if someone have real rescue experience with such setup, BEC test was OK, but I'm little worried.

Hi Lukas,

mentioned servos are relatively BEC friendly, so they can work well with the most BECs.
I believe that it will work well. But please note that for some BECs maximum output current is directly dependent on input voltage. With higher input voltage max. current is decreasing. For example this applies for Castle BECs.

thanks :D

I want use frysky x8r SBUS, I would like connect two bec cable direct with FBL unit. One I can connect to AUX, AUX 2 is already used for ESC. Can I connect second BEC power cable to channel 0?

Yes, you can use CH0 port for secondary BEC cable. It will be perfect there.
