When connecting a Spektrum Sat to the Rud Port, do i need the specific cable sold by Spirit, or can i use any JR to Micro JST cord?

You can use the Spirit one or one of the others available from eBay - it has a component to change the voltage half way down the cable. I had one from a previous FBL unit, but they are on eBay as "Tarot ZYX-S Spektrum Satellite Adapter Cable".

But if you don't have one, I would just buy from Spirit
