Hello,
what is the option for "Click Set as zero (temporarily) button to reset angle of built-in protractor."
Does this align the GeoLink with an unoriented heli to the angle of the Spirit?

Hello,
no, the button is only resetting the angle to be at zero.
After closing the software it will be again at the angle that was there.
It is only for the purpose you do not have to remember any deflection and can set where your zero angle should be.
As you can see in the manual - Mounting section, it is used to reset the angle at the position where the Spirit unit is - because Spirit unit has to be level too.
From this you will know how to mount the GeoLink precisely.
