[SOLVED] Geo link Vers 1.0.2 Problem with setup pages grey

Hi, I have received a new Spirit pro with Geo link. Setup the spirit was ok. Geo link was updated to 1.0.2. No selection possible fields are grey shaded and only from time to tim blinking black for a 1/10sec only. Return to older software was no solution same problem. Switching Geo link off and on again with unpowering the spirit. Result no help. Back to an older software, no help. Back to newest software, no help.
What to do?

i had this problem too and solved this way:
used spirit-settings 2.5.0 to update the geo-link to 1.0.2
then updated the spirit to 2.5.2
then updated spirit-settings to 2.5.2
whew

Bad luck it didn´t work as mentioned. Under software 2.5.0 ist works properly with Geo link 1.0.2. After installing software 2.5.2 it is shaded again. I can´t switch to map but sometimes to update.

I habe used spirit Version 2.5.0 to update the geo-link to 1.0.2. Verlink is working properly.
then updated the spirit to 2.5.2. Verlink ist shaded out.

but did you also upgrade the spirit firmware to 2.5.2 ?

Yes, the problem occurs after upgrade spirit software to 2.5.2. As long as spirit has software 2.5.0 the Geolink works with the new Geolink software 1.2.1
So the problem must be within the new software for spirit.

Hello,
the new Spirit software and firmware has support for checking transmission between Spirit unit and GeoLink. If this is unreliable it should not work and should be logged in the Spirit unit.
You can review log from the Spirit unit if there is any warning or error. This should tell us where the problem is.
I recommend to re-download GeoLink firmware and then try to flash it again.
It is very important that Spirit firmware is really at 2.5.2, not 2.5.1 or 2.5.0 otherwise it will not work. And also Spirit Settings must be at 2.5.2.
If you will be unable to find where the problem is we can try to help you with Remote Desktop.
