[SOLVED] Governor sensor

Hi there,

I could not fly today due to governor sensor failure,I've been using Align gov sensor for Spirit fbl governor for a while,
I think it's a hall sensor since it works with magnets.
Here is my question comes, I need sensor immediately, if I try to use a simple hall sensor like US1881 Hall Effect Sensor, does it work?

Hi,

I've bought super cheap US1881 hall effect sensor from a local electronic store,
Soldered according to it's datasheet, powered from receiver directly due to min 4.5vdc power requirement,
So far so good, it works better than original,
I have more stable rpm readouts now,
