Just an idea,
But could you program a geo-wall into the system. Having kids who loves to look at me flying - I would love a feature that could act as a last final safety barrier should one loose control over the heli such that it doesn't hit my kids, any spectator watching or myself.
It's like a simple version of the geo-fence, just that the two point line creates an infinitely long wall between you and the heli.
Even simpler, you can make a 1point sphere that protect an area around you only defining 1 point and a radius of say 10 meter or something. Define it center point in the same way as the return home function location, and the radius in the software.
I care way more for my family and friends safety than my heli..
