I just changed from the Vstabi to the spirit pro. On the Vstabi everything was normal. With the spirit pro my tail wags violently and sometimes it kicks by about 30 deg.
My setup:
Tail-servo: Align DS650
Hobbywing Platinum HV 160 with 1700 rpm
Gain: started with 50 % and tried down to 0 and up to 100 %
Rudder 1520micros 333Hz
Rudder Common Gain 1.30x
Rotation speed Rudder 9
Rudder delay 5
Rudder dynamic 7
What is wrong on my setup?

I would set common gain to 1.0

Could you post your setup. As with gyro at 0%. You should see a difference;-)

Hello,

I recommend to set Rudder delay to 0. Then we dont know anything about rest of your settings. Could you attach your settings file (4ds) here, please?

Very likely the problem could be in Pirouette Consistency settings value.

When looking at the Diagnostic tab in the Spirit Settings, can you see that the Gain is really changing and reacting to your radio?

In the diagnostic tab I see the Gyro is moving from 0% up to +100% when a change it in the tx with a poti. I want only HH.

Thank you for the settings.

For Spirit unit it would be better to set servo arm one hole further from the center.
Then you can set Rudder Delay to 0. Gyro Gain can be configured to be around 50% for the beginning.
Performance should be better after these changes.

Do you remember if you used a Revomix with VBar?

After changing hole in the servo arm please do not forget to decrease Rudder end-points. They will be smaller now.
