Spirit System

I have just powered up the spirit Pro using DSM2 Satellites and a JT DSX12 transmitter. No servos or ESC connected and powered from a battery pack. I want to set up the transmitter. All the channels seem ok, showing -100 to +100% movement in the diagnostic tab with the exception of the gyro channel. The gyro channel shows 0% at the midpoint and +100 at BOTH ends of the input from the transmitter. +100 - 0 +100. Always showing head-lock. I would be grateful if someone can provide some guidance. It's probably something simple, this is the first time I have looked at one of the units.

this depends on what Stabi/Function is programmed.
If it is Disabled, then you will see Normal mode in -100 - 0% range.
If Rescue or Stabilisation is programmed it will show rather just Head Lock as described in the tables here:
