Calibration question

Using Spirit on my gas helicopter. The throttle channel servo is connected to the Spektrum receiver not the Spirit.

-Before takeoff, if I shut off the gas engine so there is zero vibration, and I don't move any controls, will the rescue function of the Spirit calibrate itself again if it was not level?
-How long would it take?
-Does the Spirit monitor the throttle channel for the purpose of level calibration to see if the model is flying or on ground?

Thanks

Hello,

1. Yes, it will start to level immediately when model is motionless with motor off.
2. It could take up to 20 seconds depending on error that was present.
3. No, only vibrations/motion are sensed, so throttle channel has no effect.

Thank you Tomas; that is good news. I didn't understand how this worked before and I've been incorrectly turning the electrics of the helicopter off and then back on again to "re-calibrate" the rescue. I didn't need to do that. Thanks again for the helpful information.
