Hi,
My Helicopter is a Trex 500X with a Spirit Pro and Geolink Module. I have set bank 0 to normal stabilisation, bank 1 to coaxial stabilisation and bank 2 to rescue normal. With bank 1 (coaxial) selected, when I change to bank 2 rescue normal (with mixing/momentary switch) it seems to behave normally. It changes from -6 pitch (with lowest collective stick position) to +6 pitch.
With bank 0 selected (stabilisation normal), when I change to bank 2 the pitch only changes from -12 to -6.
When connected to the Spirit software With bank 0 selected (stabilisation normal), when I change to bank 2 the pitch changes from -12 to +6. I have saved the settings to the unit's memory and everything else seems to be working normally. Not sure why it behaves as I would expect only when connected.
Thanks
Grant
I must be missing something fundamental. I have reloaded the firmware and run through the setup again but still get the same result. Rescue (bank 2) only works from stabilisation normal (bank 0) when I am connected to the Spirit software with the diagnostic tab open. When disconnected, the collective pitch doesn't change when collective is at 0 degrees and from collective -12 degrees it moves to -6 degrees. Same result whether I connect with USB or Wifi. I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas. I am using firmware version 2.6.1.4 and software version 2.6.1. Thanks.

Hi,
the problem could occur if your settings has different Pitch Range between Banks.
Please check Backup/Bank Comparison to see if there is any difference in the basic settings.
Unfortunately attached 4ds profile is only from single bank, so I can't check next. Each bank has own file.

Thank you. I checked the pitch ranges and they were different in one bank. I corrected that and now the pitch angles make sense. I set the rescue collective pitch at 70% and when I switch to bank 2 (rescue) I get around +8 degrees from both bank 1 and bank 2. (Normal & coaxial). There is still an issue when the unit is disconnected from the configuration software. In normal-stabilsation mode (bnk0) the collective pitch doesn't change when I select rescue (bnk2). It does works correctly when I select rescue from coaxial mode (bnk1). When connected to the software the banks change correctly in the diagnostic tab and the collective pitch also changes correctly on the heli. I have checked the bank comparison and there is now no difference between the banks other than the stabi mode selected. I have attached the 3 files.

Hello,
thank you.
When you are checking the Banks is the software closed so that you are really turn it off? This mean close it before disconnecting the cable.
The Status LED of the Spirit unit should be steady on, not to flash.
thank you.

Hi.
Yes. I close the software before disconnecting the cable. The LED on the unit becomes steady once I disconnect.
Thanks
Grant
