I was wondering if any type of shielding is needed when using a long GPS cable. I needed to use a 24" cable since the FC is located up near the front on the heli and GPS being on the boom. Would any of the the below products be useful or needed to keep the integrity of the signal?

If model has torque tube then shielding the cable is not needed at all.

The only issue is that any longer cable is distorting antenna performance. So whenever you are changing cables I highly recommend to verify how fast you can get navigation signal (TTFF).
It is possible that it could degrade performance of all features noticeably so if you will notice any longer TTFF (in comparison with supplied cable) then the cable shouldn't be used.

To make a proper comparison do not fly with the model and do not move with the sticks - just power it up, wait at the field and compare times (ideally at least 4 times).
