Spirit System

Both my wifi units are giving this error.

Trying to connect from my android phone to a red spirit 2.6.1.

Any ideas? BEC is 7.2v if that matters?

PC USB dongle connection works perfectly.

are you powering the Wifi-Link from the same power supply? (BEC from the model)?

Yes. I have unplugged the ESC (with bec), and plugged in a servo Y-cable. This then powers the WIFI module and the Spirit at the same time.

The WIFI module is connected to my phone (my phone can connect to the spirit wifi), but cannot read data from the Spirit.

are the spirit and wifi module at the firmware version ?

Spirit is at 2.6.1.
I didn't think the wifi module was update able.

How did I update the wifi firmware?

It was running v2.0.2

One of the wifi modules is now working.

The 2nd wifi module will not connect.

I think I need to return it.

did you updated also the second module? Can you see what version is in the module?
The version between Wifi-Link and for Spirit unit must be always same.

Spirit is 6.2.1, wifi is 6.2.0.
