Spirit System

I'm about to finish my build on a Mostro 700. I'm using power hungry HV BK BL01 servos. My BEC is the Kosmik 160 Cool. I'll be using a spek rx and BT module, so all ports of the Spirit will be full.

My question is, what is the better way to power the servos?
1) Connect both BEC leads to spirit by means of Y adapters (and which ports are best to connect to). In this scenario I'd have to have 2 splits on the main BEC lead (1 split to take throttle signal to rx and then second split to y-adapter at Spirit port) and 1 split on the secondary BEC lead (the y-adapter at Spirit port)
2) Connect both BEC leads to Rx (which has plenty of open ports and no y-adapter or splits will be needed) and power servos through the two Rx to Spirit wires.

I recommend to select 2). It is clean and simple solution, part count which could potentially fail is minimized.
But both choices will work without any issue. There is only requirement for Y-harness AWG. It should be similar AWG as from your BEC.

As you said, it is more simple and less connection points. I also have an optipower guard. I think I'll connect that to spirit with y-adapter on one of the servo ports. My thinking being the guard will be on the Spirit side so if voltage is dropping because of resistance on the 2 wires from Rx it will see this dip and be able to provide its buffer power through a 3rd wire, instead of relying on the 2 from the Rx.

I have the hitec 20awg y-adapters so they should be good.
