Geolink placement?

Hi, i been recomended not to extend the geolink cable.
So i ordered the longest, 50 cm.
And if i use that one you can see where it have to place the geolink.


And heres a picture were i could place it with my own extension.


Wich one is to recomend?
On the first picture the tail servo is pretty close.

First picture it’s to close to the servo. It has to be able to pick up magnetic north for it to work. With it that close to the servo the magnets in the servo will screw up the compass in the gps. I’d stick it as far back as your comfortable with.
