Any function on any switch, in any switch position

I know this is possible with Banks, but i think it would make it a much better product if this was added to the software. I've mentioned this in other threads, but thought if it was here, it would at least get looked at by Tomas and the other system devs.
I would like the ability to assign any function to any switch, in any switch position.
e.g. with 3-pos switches, this is possible:
(not my required setup, just an example)
Channel 8:
1) off
2) rescue acro + position hold + alti hold
3) stabilisation coaxial + alti hold
Channel 9:
1) return to home
2) off
3) auto land
Channel 10:
1) off
2) geolink alti hold
3) geolink position hold
Channel 11:
1) spektrum analysis X
2) spektrum analysis Y
3) off
Channel 12:
1) enable geofence
2) off
3) set RTH position
Channel 13:
1)off
2) Motor on
3) motor hold (auto-rotation)
etc etc..
I also fly quads, and the flight controllers allow any functions to be assigned to any channel, at any switch position, which makes adding multiple different functions to switches really simple without having to manage duplicate settings in banks.
