[SOLVED] F: Output to AUX2

Hi,
I'm using F: Output to AUX2 to control the retract servo on my Gaui R5. The problem is after Spirit is powered the retract servo goes from the extended position to the neutral position (halfway between extended and retracted) and after the swash plate pumps up and down a few seconds later then the retract servo goes back to the commanded position (extended).
Is there any way to keep the retract servo in the commanded position without moving during the power on process?

Hello,
the unit is sending neutral/center impulse during power up.
So the only solution could be to plug the retracts directly to the receiver.
If you are using a satellites then a SRXL receiver could be the best solution.

So now that the flying season is over;
Would it be possible to update the firmware so that the output from Spirit for AUX2 channel don't get a center command during power up so that my landing gear doesn't move during power up?

Yes? No?
Otherwise I'll have to spend $100 for new hardware to fix this problem with Spirit.

Hello,
please flash this firmware:
http://spirit-system.com/dl/fw//spirit-fw-2.7.11.4df
Let me know if this will help you. Signal after power up has been set to 1100us.

Thank you so much for taking the time to update the firmware for me. Unfortunately 1100us fully retracts the landing gear during power up instead of keeping it fully extended. So it needs to go the other way. Is there a way to have the output to AUX2 have no signal during power up and then go to commanded position after power up? That would be best. But if there needs to be some signal that will work too it just needs to be the other way.
Thanks again for doing this for me, it is a really big help!
George
Edit: The more I think about it; my landing gear in the extended position would result in an arbitrary value on the AUX2 channel (It's not full travel for the servo when fully extended). The chances of you guessing a predetermined value to enter into the firmware is unlikely to be correct. If you can't change the firmware to just not send any output to the servo during power up then I will have to get one of the new SRXL2 receivers from Spektrum (AR6610T) so that I can have telemetry with Spirit and HobbyWing V4 ESC and a servo connection for the gear channel. But that opens problems with the secondary satellite receiver that I'm not sure about.

Hello,
we have prepared firmware where you can control the signal from the initialization.
This should solve your problem. After testing we can send the link.

Thank you so much for doing that Tomas; I look forward to trying the new firmware!
