Spirit System

Blade 480 Fusion, DX8 Gen 2 transmitter, spirit pro, spm46497t receiver w 2 satellites, castle talon 90 each.

Using the spirit castle connector between esc and aux1. Castle link turned on. Transmitter telemetry set for esc and text gen and flight pack. Telemetry set for castle in spirit with motor pole 4 and 10.18 to 1 ratio.

When I power up using the 6s 5000 mah battery I get no telemetry or integration. I can roller to the telemetry screens but no data and i can't enter the integration menu using the hold sticks to center method.

However, if I power up using a small 6 v battery pack into aux2 I get both telemetry and can get into the integration menu. Any idea why it doesnt work via the esc power?

I guess you are connecting 6s battery to your ESC, right?
Are you using our Telem CC cable?
Do you have external BEC on the model?

Yes 6S battery to ESC. Yes using your telecom cable from ESC to Aux1. No external BEC.

It seems to only work when I power it from a 6 volt battery plugged directly into aux2.

Well I went and flew it two flights and when I got home I thought I would do some troubleshooting on the telemetry but surprisingly I was able to get into both the telemetry screen and the integration setup screens using the 6s battery.

I did not change anything so I can't understand why it is working now. Maybe the spirit needed to be powered off and on a few times? At any rate it is working now so that is great!

same here, sometimes it works. But not always.

Is this the same problem as the DX9?
