Hello, I have a new Spirit pro Im getting ready to set up. Just a few questions. When I have the programming cable plugged in the status LED is a slow flash, is that normal? And if Im using a Spektrum standard receiver, do I only worry about binding the the receiver? in other words, bind plug in the receiver not the Spirit unit? Thanks, Tony

when cable is plugged in the unit, then nothing should change. But if Spirit Settings will launch and will conntact with unit then the Status LED will flash periodically to signalize that unit is being configured.

Yes, Spirit unit has nothing to do with binding when using standard receivers (PWM connection). Only in case of Spektrum satellites binding with a bind plug is needed.
