My new spirit 2 has just arrived. This thing is beautiful, well done on the design! The laser etching looks amazing!
Is it ok to place a piece of clear tape over the hole where the status LED shines through on the new spirit 2 ?
I don't want water dripping in there which may occur from condensation or from a random rain shower.

You can use a tape.
But rather water condensation will escape more easily if hole is open.
Anyway water condensation is generated if going from cold to hot temperature.
So it is important to power up the model as soon as possible to prevent from cooling.
