Using Soko to set up Spirit - where to set head geometry 6°?

I know some of you use Soko to set up your Spirit.

Question: Where in the Soko process do you use Soko to set up your head geometry 6° (Spirit Wizard step 8)?

I have both the basic Soko app and the Virtual Mainshaft App.

I was able to work around it no problem by zeroing my RC Logger gauge and setting it on the Soko platform, then adjusting the value in Wizard step 8 to get 6°, but it's driving me crazy that I can't see where and how to do it with the Soko system.

Did Soko just leave it out? I've been at this all day. Probably missing something.

You do not need Soko to set Geometry 6° value.
You need only classic pitch gauge that can show you when blades are tilted to 6° with respect to the model.

I have several helis with a Spirit system onboard and all of them are adjusted with the Soko tool.

The Soko app is not really neccessary and I used it only once.

After assembling the tool to one blade holder, the tail boom of the modell needs to be levelt, so that the smaller, upper numbers in the tool display show the true angle of the blade. Then pitch 0°, pitch range and travel of all three servos need to be set exactly.

Now set the check box for geometry 6° aktive. The swash plate is tilt now and align the rotor head with the boom.
The reading on the Soko tool should be 6° now and after rotating the head 180° as well.
Most of the time both values show app. 0.5-1° difference. I adjust the number in the software untill the target of 6° is in the middle of both measurements.

If I'm satisfied with everything, I move the Soko tool to the other blade holder and check pitch 0° again.
When both upper links where adjusted exactly to the same length before, both sides should be even and ok.

Yes, it can be done with a standard pitch gauge, but the solid connection of the Soko tool to the head provides a save and very accurate adjustment in a very short time.
The absence of the blades makes the adjusting process also very comfortable.

I replied on Helifreak as well.

Just did this today. It’s in the Wizard or in the ADVANCED tab of the app. I think it’s in the top left corner under cyclic geometry. Just move the slider until you get a reading on your soko that matches the app result. It won’t be 6 deg unless your surface was exactly level. I used the VMS app. Great tool!
