Can't bind both SPM4651T and DSMX satellite with Spirit 2

First time setting up SRXL2 with SPM4651T.

The 4651 binds perfectly, but I can't get a DSMX satellite to bind.

Tried binding it before the 4651, after, at the same time. Tried three different sats, different cables.

Checked the online manual, searched the Spirit forum, nothing.

Must be missing something

Help me with this and I'll drive over and mow your lawn.

PS - I saw the suggestion to update the bootloader to fix binding problems, but this is a brand new Spirit 2 so I'm sure it has the latest bootloader

You can not mix SRXL2 with the old sats, Its one or the other...

I've got the mower in my car

BUT... just to be clear, does this mean that the SPM4651T can't be used with a satellite at all? Or are there satellites made specifically for this protocol that can be connected to the Spirit 2 in combination with the 4651T?

I was planning to use it on a 700, but if I can't get redundancy, I will save it for my next small heli and stiick with the 4649T that will at least allow one satellite.

I bought 2 of the 4651T hoping to use with the old sats, this did not come off...So i bought a 6610t and used 1 of the 4651T as the sat. this all works fine but you need to put the wire from the spirit into port 1 and not into the bind/pro/srxl2 port as there is a conflict with the side srxl2 port for the sat...
