Hi,

in my old radio i used bank switching for rescue mode.

now i like to configure it without bank switching (SBUS) but run into some "understanding" issues.

here u can see my channels why does the spirit use channel 5 for rescue function (pop up message)? i set channel 10 or 11 (for testing) ?
why do i have to use more channels? 10 for enabling rescue and 12 or whatever for the function i.e position hold ?

for Rescue you do not need Bank switching at all.

With your current configuration it is enough to change state of the channel 10 from 0 to 1.
This will engage the Rescue.

Nothing else is needed.

By default Channel 5 is used, because in this way you need only 6 channel radio. And if you need free channels for other features, you can use them.
Not everybody have 16 channel radios so in this way you can use it with basically any setup.
