5° skids

My heli has skids that slope forwards 5 degrees so the fbl is sloping forwards 5 degrees.

What's the proper way to do a setup on this type of heli? Zero pitch gauge on top of fbl or angle the heli so the fbl is at zero degrees?

Zero pitch gauge on top of FBL or motor.

Hello,

My two cts.
Place the module on a horizontal table, mount the swashplate leveler on the shaft and do the corrections with Servo tab - sub trim (tuning) to be ok.
Then place the module in the heli (of course on a place perpendicularly with the main rotor shaft ...).
With this méthode the heli doesn’t have to be parallel with the ground.
But you have to dismount the module each time you want to tune the sub trim to do that ... normally not every days ;) I hope for you.

Have a good day.
Hervé

Cheers guys. I've designed and 3D printed a stand that causes the fbl to be parallel to the ground.
