I am so ready to pull the trigger on the DS-12 Carbon but wanted to check on the announcement from Spirit -
Any update on the timeline? Any additional news that can be shared? Should I wait...?

Oh I know I am being silly and impatient like a kid at Christmas time...

Theres a news thread on these forums.

Think carefully before going to jeti. Its not widely used and it's very expensive.

It is? My DS12 was $600, that’s less than a lot of radios and has more capability than anything else. Even the receivers are reasonable, plus Spirit has the new RS coming with built in Jeti receiver. There’s a lot of people who fly helis with Jeti, it’s very popular.

My Taranis was around $200 (converted from GBP) and r-xsr receivers are $15.
It's open tx so can do anything and everything.

I don't know anyone using jeti only Vstabi, taranis or spektrum.

Ok . Guys ! Tomas is going to list Jeti transmitters on his website, so if you don’t like it please take it somewhere else, it is not nice to put it here. :D

Like I'm going to use a $15 Rx in my $5000 turbine Heli. Please. I feel my Jeti Tx and Spirit Pro is ample protection.

I have Graupner, Jumper T16 and a Jeti DS-14.

Honestly, I still like my Graupner best but them declaring bankruptcy I am diversifying.

The DS-14 is a fine transmitter but it has very limited lua support (something the OpenTx Jumper is great at btw) so I am looking to get a newer model Jeti and will sell the DS-14 —and that is why I am waiting on this announcement :)

I have no issues with having other options but I don’t see the need to shoot down someone’s choices just because it works for them - despite having great luck with my OpenTx stuff I would also think twice before putting it in a $5000 plane/heli...again just my personal take and not an attack on OpenTX/Frsky transmitters.
