Hi,

it looks like the provided WiFi DL still includes version 3.0.0.
I tried MAC and Windows Version.
Even when the downloaded files are named for version 3.1.0, after flashing I still have version 3.0.0 and can not enter configuration due to version mismatch.

Unfortunately some Wifi-Links that were flashed with version 3.0.0 must be replaced. We will be shipping new for free. They cannot be updated/downgraded without special procedure made in our factory.
So the Wifi-Link update is working properly, but your Wifi-Link has flashing issue that happened because of flashing 3.0.0. So that you can't flash it to any other version, including 2.8.

Since it is not cost effective you can leave your module. It can be still used with Android app and computer software without updating it. So only Wifi-Link interface is stuck at 3.0.0 on your Wifi-Link.

I flashed all my WiFi modules with 3.0.0, so I will check, which of them are able to be updated...

If you flashed 3.0.0 then there is 50% chance we will have to ship you new module.

Just send email to us.

Alternatively if you are more technically skilled we can give you instruction to fix the module. But I can prepare it on monday. It will require removing shrinktube, although very skilled person can do it with the shrink tube too.

We are very sorry for the inconvience. Unfortunately we can`t do more to resolve the problem caused by 3.0.0.

After checking I have 2 out of 6 WiFi-Links that are not able to upgrade.

Yes, it is possible.

Spirit 2 issue can be resolved by replacing 2 resistors with 0 - 100 Ohms. So if you do not have any, just do a short.

For firmware reflash it is needed to use flashing program and direct connection with usb interface. After this module can be flashed normally again.
