Hi, I have a red Spirit unit- a hobbwing 120esc. With fan plugged in no problem, disconnect the fan and the unit will connect and disconnect continually. What setting amI missing? I have the throttle set at 1100hz -1940hz

Hi,

probably you have telemetry cable connected, but this cable is not original Telem UNI.
Can you describe your wiring, please?
You can also provide some photos.

Yes , I have the throttle signal cable from the ESC in the aux and the BEC output in the Rud port. Not using the RPM signal wire.
Thanks

Can you please take a photo of your wiring?

Unfortunately it does not make too much sense at the moment. Fan is normally independent from any connected unit and is usually in the connector inside the ESC.

Hi, yes the fan connects to the ESC if used. I made some programming changes that have helped.
Spirit unit settings
Throttle frequency 12HZ
Throttle range min 1100us / max 1940us
Hobbywing ESC parameters
#1 external governor
#5 BEC voltage 6.4V
#13 timing 6deg. (Scorpion 910KV)
#15 Active flywheel disabled
The spirit unit reboots 2-3 times when plugged in before maintaining a solid red light. I had the ESC in airplane mode when it locked in boot/reboot mode. External governor is workable, I will let you know if I find another configuration that works without 2-3 reboots before a solid connection.
Thanks for your help as always
