A couple of guys at the field today were very enthusiastic about their latest VBar update: 'Anti-Gravity Mode'. It sounded like a joke (!) but in discussion I realised it is gyro stabilisation for pitch, and they said it improved the feel of the heli in many respects. I can see this would help for (e.g.) small helis which suffer in gusty conditions with 'balooning' where in the hover the heli rises in a gust and falls when the wind drops. Stabilisation for un-commanded collective pitch movement would seem to be helpful, assuming it can be adjusted for gain.
I apologise if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I would think (as per the VBar product) it could be introduced in an update, and selected on/off as desired.
Thoughts?
Cheers, Andy
"Anti-Gravity Mode" for Spirit?
Thank you for the tip.
I am sure we can implement it within next update.

ça va bien aider sur les tonneaux pleine vitesse les jours de grand vent. Je suis pressé d'essayer ça.
We already have it working.
If you wish you can test.
We can send you firmware and software for testing.

Yes, Tomas, I would be very interested! What size heli did you test it on? I could use either a Trex 300x, 500L, 700x or Goblin 770 sport - all except 300X have Geolink if it helps.ZeXx86 wrote:We already have it working.

It can be found in the Expert settings.
Please be aware it will increase collective pitch range. So please check all mechanical limits carefully.

I will try with the uSpirit / Trex 300X. Do you think it will be better to test on this small heli?
