Dominator Rescue

Hi,

I'm still setting up my 550L dominator (it's taken me a while dead servo, late delivery etc...) but I'm getting there.

I understand a lot of amps is needed for rescue, I'm running a 20a pro bec for this. But now I'm concerned that a single servo plug is not going to be enough. Does anyone have any experience using a 550L with Spirit's Rescue? I'm thinking I could splice the second BEC output plug in with satellite converter, I prefer not to, as the wiring is already hard to manage. Anyone have any idea of the amps required for the stock setup would need?

Thanks

Hi,

I wish your helicopter will be ready to fly very soon.
For normal Trex 550 one BEC cable is enough, but version L comes with more demanding servos so it could be better to use both BEC leads.
With normal receiver it is quite easy, with satellites I recommend Y-cable like this:

Hi Tomas,

i have the 550L with Hobbywing Platinum 100A with 2x BEC Output.
Is my wiring right?
I use the AR8000 with SAT.
HW Throttle output > RX Throttle
HW slave BEC output > RX AUX 2/3

and Standard PWM wiring how described in the manual

Regards Frank
