Which 3M tape to use?

Hi!

With my Spirit RS the supplied tape is a 3M black maybe some kind of foam tape. Can i use 3M VHB 1mm clear silicon tape instead? it is much easier to remove. Or is the supplied is better fog vibration for example? thanks!
