Do I really need the spirit telemetry cable? I mean the Tribunus has an option to talk directly to a Jeti RX thru the EX1 port.
My question is shouldn't I be able to do this instead of have the spirit cable or MUST I use the spirit cable?

you have two options with Scorpion. In some cases port E1 can be used by some other telemetry sensor or power supply. Spirit telemetry need only SAT port which is usually free.
You can also connect ESC telemetry at the E1 port. Both options should work well, but both are little bit different.

I have used the Spirit cable connect to the sat1 port, however I get no readouts.. I have the unit set to scorpion and I have the scorpion set to telumi or have ever you spell it.
I guess I'll try the esc now. Unless you can tell me something I am missing.
