Hello,

how do you recommend to make the 6 degrees optimation for scale helicopters ?

Is it the best way to start with 0° Pitch when Stick is centered and run the 6° Procedure and make the Positive and negative limits with the Pitch curve after that ?

Thx Martin

The 6° setup is for cyclic pitch, not collective pitch. Put one blade straight out over the nose and at 0 degrees collective pitch, use full left or right aileron. Adjust the tuning value under the 6° checkbox until you get 6°.

I made an edit, I forgot how it was done myself without looking at the software :)

Ok thank you, but i meant cyclic...sorry.

If i adjusted my positive and negative values for scale flying ( ~-4 ....+11° collective), how can i adjust the cyclic 6° ?

Is it ok to drive the blades into the 0° position with collective pitch stick and then do the 6° procedure ?

Or is ist better to do this wit symmetric collectiv pitch - for example -10°...+10° and adjust the collective limits afterwards...?

Or is it the same in effect ?

Hello,

Geometry 6° setting is independent from any radio configuration. Stick input is not involved at all.
So Collective Pitch settings also does not matter in this case.
